The fully integrated transport system
featured in the video on the right takes care of the whole logistics
process from the staking of the new plants on arrival to final
packing and preparation for market. Every process in the production
chain is automated and all controlled by Logiqs Agro Dat-A-Control ®
software. Dat-A-Control ensures that the whole process is
continuously monitored and that any batch of plants or individual container
can be located and retrieved as and when necessary.
This 25,000 sq m installation at
Maasland handles 2,500 begonia and anthurium plants per hour by
automating all parts of the production process. The 3 tier system
maximises space utilisation, while quality of the final product
remains paramount. |
