• The planning of a new garden area or the changing and  restructure of an already established area is based on personal preferences. Similar garden layouts will quite likely have totally different irrigation requirements. Here at Ampro we have over 40 years experience in designing and supplying irrigation systems. Our suitably qualified, friendly staff are available to provide expert advice as to the system best suited to your garden,  greenhouse etc.  

Please fax or e-mail a sketch showing the size and layout of your garden, indicating any sloping areas and differing levels.  Also please include the following information:

• An indication of water flow from your water source.  One way of doing this is to time the filling of a 2 gallon bucket with the tap full on.  

• Water pressure. Your local water board should be able to give you an indication as to the pressure in your area.

• Soil texture i.e sandy, loamy  or clay etc.

• Plant type i.e. ground cover, herbaceous border etc.
