Manually keeping track of how your picking crews are doing in the field is one of the most onerous tasks facing supervisors and management. Paper records can only be assessed once they've been returned to the office. So electronic recording is growing in popularity, though often such systems are bespoke (and therefore expensive) as well as being prone to development bugs.
But now Priva have developed an easy-to-use new system ideal for the soft fruit industry, which utilises an app that's compatible with most current mobile devices.
Using a tablet or smartphone, the Priva Labour Insight app enables your crop supervisors to record in real time what their picking/crop working teams are doing - providing an accurate electronic record of what work each person has done, in which field, tunnel or location. That will make subsequent calculation of piecework pay very straightforward, for example.
So long as the supervisor can access a 3G/4G or WiFi connection, all the data they input is synchronised in 'The Cloud' so that it is available to managers in the office straight away.
The app is 'self service' - which means that you can download it from Windows store/App store or Google Play yourself.
How much does it cost?
